About TrustHide

TrustHide lets you send one-time encrypted notes without registration. The sender writes the text, the browser encrypts it with a password, and the server stores the encrypted package and deletion settings.

The recipient opens the link and enters the password or receives it from the protected part of the link after the # symbol. A one-time note is deleted after the first opening, and notes with expiration are destroyed after the selected time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does encryption happen?

New text is encrypted in the browser through the Web Crypto API before it is sent to the server.

Can a note be read twice?

A one-time note is destroyed after the first confirmed opening. It cannot be read again.

Is a password required?

You can set your own secret password or use an automatically generated password in the link.

Who can read the note?

In the current configuration, the service stores a service key, so content may be available to private-panel operators.
